Join us for a panel discussion and book signing to celebrate the publication of Midcentury Houses Today. Architects Jeffrey Matz and Cristina A. Ross, photographer Michael Biondo and graphic designer Lorenzo Ottaviani collaborated to create this lavishly illustrated book, which presents 16 icons of residential modernism in New Canaan, Connecticut. Many of these houses – designed by the likes of Philip Johnson, Marcel Breuer, Landis Gores, Eliot Noyes, Edward Durell Stone and others – have never before been publicly viewed.

We’ll welcome the four authors to the Studio for a panel discussion moderated by John Morris Dixon. Dixon, the former editor of Progressive Architecture magazine, is on the board of Docomomo and wrote the book’s introduction. The evening will offer opportunities to learn, ask questions, purchase the book and enjoy refreshments with like-minded design fans.
